Kanye West created the front page of another fake newspaper to announce the “death” of the Adidas CEO

Kanye West published and deleted a fake New York Times newspaper that incorrectly claimed Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted had ‘died’ at the age of 60.

The rapper wrote the caption: “I’m not here to be loved, I don’t like to leave” [sic]He said.

Just weeks ago, Kanye, 45, criticized Casper for “blatant copying” of his Yeezy chips after Adidas revealed the Adilette chips.

It was revealed last week that Kasper will leave Adidas in 2023, after working with the brand since 2016.

In early August, Kanye posted another fake front page to the New York Times announcing the ‘death’ of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian’s relationship – after their split.

He later reposted it and put a new comment: “God loves us.” He is still on his Instagram page.

Adidas last week announced that Kasper will leave the company in 2023; He started with the brand in 2016, according to CNBC.

His contract with the company was due to expire in 2026; Casper and Adidas did not explain why he was leaving before the contract expired.

He will remain in office until a successor is appointed.

Soon after, Kanye posted a photo of Daniel Cherry, Senior Vice President/General Manager of Adidas.

He wrote in the caption: “I’m a nice guy but I’m starting to feel like I’m not a nice guy. And don’t try to tell me what gang Philly used to play with this time.”

Earlier this month — after nearly a decade of collaborating together, Kanye shot Adidas for their stark copy of Yeezy slides.

West fired a direct shot at Casper, saying, “As for Casper, I no longer stand with such blatant copying.”

He continued, “To every sneaker culture to every ballplayer rapper or even if you work in the store, this is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feels they can’t cause them to lose their contract or call them crazy.

Courage is not afraid. Courage is overcoming your fear for who you really are. This Yi with blue paint on my face, he added.

These shoes represent people in power’s disrespect for talent. This shoe is a fake Yeezy shoe made by adidas themselves, I’m not talking to DC about it, either Kasper comes over and talk to me. Happy Monday, West concluded.

The West and Adidas apparel and footwear deal was first announced in December 2013, with the first collection launching in February 2015.

That line included his first shoes called Yeezy Boosts, which were limited to just 9,000 pairs in New York City… which sold out within 10 minutes.

Adidas first revealed its new Adilette chips earlier this month, which will retail for $55, and the 45-year-old rapper wasn’t thrilled about that.

West took to Instagram, criticizing shoe company and CEO Kasper Rorstad over the slides, which he dubbed “fake Yeezys.”

This is driving down the same street as Kobe. Maybe I’m feeling Mamba’s spirit right now, ‘West kicked off’, perhaps hinting that his deal with Adidas is coming to an end.

NBA legend Kobe Bryant signed a six-year contract with Adidas just before he enlisted in high school in 1996, but Bryant bought himself out of his contract with Adidas in 2002.

After waiting a full year as part of his no-participation clause, he signed a new contract with Nike in 2003, where he would remain for the rest of his career.

It’s unclear whether Adidas or Rorstad plan to publicly respond to West’s post, although they have stuck with him in the past.

Back in 2018, when West made controversial comments about slavery being a ‘choice’, Rorstad defended West.

Kanye has been and continues to be a very important part of our strategy and he was a great builder, and that’s where I’m going to leave him. Rorstad said in Bloomberg Interview in May 2018.

The fake post in the newspaper comes weeks after the original post he shared ended after ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson – whom he called Skete – ended.

He posted it two days after Kim and Pete broke up.

Skete Davidson dies at 28 – a celebration of Pete’s dead affair status with Kim, 41, rather than the state of 28-year-old Pete’s life.

Kim and Kanye married in 2014 but filed for divorce in February 2021; She was declared legally single in March 2022.

Kim and Pete were first linked in October 2021.

Kanye was trying to win over his wife – with whom he shares four children – and became famous for shooting Pete when he buried a replica of him alive and beheaded in a new music video for his song Easy.

The musician introduced a series of infographics via mud animations targeting the Saturday Night Live character in March.

He also took a shot at Kid Cudi again using the model newspaper, writing at the bottom: “I know what you’re thinking… Who is Kasper?’ But even less important, who is Kid Cody?

For the Skete post, Kanye took a hit on Kid Cody and wrote, “Kid Cody meant to play funeral but is afraid of bottle throwers.”

This is in reference to Kid Cudi cutting his Rolling Loud Short title on July 22 due to people throwing bottles at him. He took Kanye’s place at the last minute but then Kanye showed up later anyway and performed.

Kanye, who goes by the name Ye, has been close friends with Cudi since the mid-2010s, and while they had a rocky friendship, they were said to have fallen out again this year due to his friendship with Pete.
