Save $120 on luxury Apple AirPods Max headphones

Update September 1, 5:51 PM ET: Antonline bundle deal on Nintendo Switch OLED and Pokemon Legends: Arceus is no longer available.

Hell, it’s September. Big Apple event next week, and summer is pretty much over (except for the sweltering heat, that is). Before you know it, we’ll talk about Techtober and holiday shopping. Wait, before you throw the keyboard or the phone at me, I’ll get to the deals.

First, you can get AirPods Max in select colors (silver, pink, blue, and green) for $429, which is $120 off their full price. This is the best possible price for a new pair of AirPods Max yet. It’s regularly discounted to $479, so you should never pay the full price, but this deal doesn’t come all the time.

While $429 is still a lot of money for headphones, the noise-canceling AirPods Max are some of the best options out there for wireless listening on Apple devices. They use Apple’s H1 chip for seamless connections to your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, but they also support Bluetooth 5.0 for broader compatibility. (You can, if you like, listen wired and not worry about battery life, but that requires a $35/cable.) These cases are a bit bulky, but they are very plush compared to most of the plastic competitors, and they support spatial sound. For all that, $429 is definitely more digestible than its full $549 price tag, even if it’s not folded and the case is a little weird. Read our review.

Antonline offers a Nintendo Switch OLED bundle with a copy of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and the Nyko Wired Gaming Headset for $349.99. Console packages rarely sound like a good deal, but thankfully this one is making a comeback. Honestly the headset is next to the point. The key here is that you get the flagship Switch OLED, with its greatly improved large screen, usable kickstand, and 64GB of internal storage for its regular price — plus, you get a great open world. Pokemon The game is released for free. If you’re fallen Pokemon A fan or just a little curious and interested in the best Nintendo that currently has to offer in terms of hardware, this bundle is really worth a look. Govee’s DreamView G1 Pro gaming lights have fallen to their best price yet on Amazon. You can get an LED display lighting kit for $129.99 when you click the coupon on the page, which results in $50 off at checkout. If you love some RGB lighting and play a lot on a computer, this is a fun way to liven up your office setup. Much like Govee TV’s submersible lighting kits, the G1 Pro uses a top-mounted camera to match lighting colors to what’s on your screen. There is a flexible LED strip that you attach to the back of your monitor with sticky clips, and there are two LED towers on the sides, about a foot apart.

The effect is great for both story-driven and fast-paced shooters, and is more affordable than expensive options from brands like Philips Hue. LED strip mounting clips have been recently reviewed and improved, so if you buy it and get your old clips in the box, be sure to reach out to Govee customer support to upgrade the free clip. Since we’re in September, it also means we’ve made the strides of the fall TV season. And just as HBO Max offers a seasonal deal to connect you with its services, recent cross-streaming app Paramount Plus/Showtime follows suit. You can subscribe to the bundled Paramount Plus and Showtime streaming package for $7.99 per month ($11.99 regularly) for the Basic plan. This gives you a variety of ad-supported Paramount Plus and Showtime shows with some live sports, such as the Champions League and NFL games on CBS. Choosing a Premium plan costs $12.99 per month (regularly $14.99), is ad-free excluding live content and includes more live sports in addition to your local CBS station. This offer runs until October 2, when plans will resume their regular rates, although you can cancel at any time.

Paramount Plus and Showtime offer a streaming bundle of the two services at a special price of $7.99 per month for the Basic plan (ad-supported) or $12.99 for the Premium plan (no ads on streaming and more live sports included). Both options include Showtime streaming. Special prices end on October 2, when they go back to the standard $11.99 and $14.99 per month, respectively.
