Can you watch Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey in the UK?

AA Milne fans: Prepare to destroy your childhood.

When Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey—Pooh’s first foray into the slasher movies—was first announced back in 2022, there were mixed reactions about the children’s classic turning into horror.

Co-produced by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, Blood and Honey follows Piglet and Pooh as they embark on revenge after their friend Christopher Robin abandons them.

And as we saw in the first trailer, the movie is more quirky than expected. The footage shows Pooh and Piglet on a rampage through the woods, kidnapping a bikini-clad woman from a hot tub, beheading a holiday-goer, staining windows with blood and… devouring honey.

Watch the trailer below, but be warned that it’s not suitable for younger viewers.

Craig David Dowsett (Plague Pits) will be lurking behind a Winnie-the-Pooh mask, Chris Cordell (You Killed Solomon Reed) will take on the role of Piglet, and Nicolay Lyon (Exit, The Devil’s Christmas Tree) will play Christopher Robin.

In case it wasn’t clear from the trailer, Dowsett recently warned viewers that Blood and Honey is “not for the faint of heart.”

Speaking to UNILAD, Dowsett spoke about filling the role. “When I first read the script, I knew this was going to be special!” He said.

“Viewers can expect a dangerous story full of violence and blood, not for the faint of heart.”

Dowsett also went on to provoke his follow-up to the film, adding, “The director has already talked about wanting to run a sequel, so only time will tell, but yes I would definitely be interested in being a part of it again.”

But when do we expect the landing of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, and how can we watch it? Read on for the latest broadcast information.
