Britney Spears’ son Jayden says their relationship can be fixed if they improve mentally

  • Jaden Federline, son of Britney Spears, gave an interview to ITV about his relationship with his mother.
  • He said he hopes they can talk one day when you’re mentally better.
  • Jayden has also opened up about the “trauma” he and his older brother, Sean Preston, have had.

Britney Spears’ son Jayden Federline told ITV that his relationship with his mother could be repaired if she was “mentally improving”.

According to a Daily Mail article excerpted from an ITV interview published on Thursday, the 15-year-old also explained why he and brother Sean Preston Federline did not go to Spears’ June wedding to husband Sam Asgari.

“At the time, it wasn’t a good time to go. Not saying I’m not happy for her,” Jayden said, according to the Daily Mail. “I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t let the whole family go and then if it was just me and Preston, I just don’t see how this situation would turn out with good relations.”

Jayden’s comments come after his father Kevin Federline, 44, gave an interview to ITV and the Daily Mail in August saying their sons “have decided they don’t see” Spears at the moment.

Teenager Daphne Barak of ITV told in the new interview that his relationship with his mother “100 percent” could be “steady”.

He continued, “It will take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to improve mentally.” “When she gets better, I really want to see her again.”

In his August interview, Kevin said his sons are having a hard time dealing with their mother’s Instagram activity, including her nude posts.

Jayden echoed that sentiment. “It’s like she should be posting something on Instagram to get some attention. This has been going on for years and years and years and there’s a good chance this will never stop but I hope for me it will,” he said.

Spears’ nearly 13-year tenure ended in November. After and during her legal battle, the pop star made public accusations that her father abused her through guardianship.

Although Federlines had its own public feuds with Spears’ father Jimmy Spears — and at one point Jayden and his older brother Sean Preston, 16, had issued a restraining order against their grandfather, according to court documents — Jayden told ITV he believed Jamie ” He doesn’t deserve all the hate he gets in the media.”

“Initially he was just trying to be like any father allowing her to pursue her daughter’s dream of becoming a star but I think the guardianship period may have gone on for too long,” Jayden said.

He also suggested that part of his reluctance to have an affair with his mother now has something to do with the way Sean Preston treated him.

“I think my mum struggled to give us attention and show love as equals and I don’t think she showed enough for Preston and I feel really bad for that,” Jayden said. “We’ve been through so much stress in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we’ve been through to heal, and to heal our mental state.”

Despite all their public struggles, Jayden said he loves his mother and would like a relationship with her in the future. Speaking directly to his mother, he said, “I love you so much, and I hope it’s the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit like this and talk again.”

Spears posted a response to Jayden’s interview in an Instagram post on Thursday. In part, her statement read: “I tell my son Jayden that I am sending you all my love in the world every day for the rest of my life!!!! My love for my children has no limits.”
