Adam Levine Flirty DM Cringefest: All allegations broken so far

A lot has happened since Monday, when the world found out that a famous musician might also be (inhale!) a womanizer.

Well, that’s not entirely shocking. And there’s no real evidence that Adam Levine, the frontman of the candy-covered pop band Maroon 5, ever had a physical relationship. But the breakneck speed with which five different women came forward this week, claiming everything from a year-long affair to an innocent flirtation with the singer, has left gossip dogs to fall in love.

A series of embarrassing direct messages on Instagram shows that PeopleThe 2013 film Sexiest Man Alive may have let the honor go to its head. There are moments of his unadulterated ego, such as when he appears to tell a woman that she is “50 times hotter in her person” before adding “and I am,” or when the same woman later asks if he can name his child after her, leading her to conclude, “I’m in Hell.” Some of the messages are pathetic — in one series, he appears to compliment a woman’s ass and plead with her, “I’ll do anything for her,” capping his plea with a round-eyed emoji that almost makes you feel bad until you remember he’s married and has kids.

Some of the allegations are taking a more serious turn. One woman claims that her boyfriend physically assaulted her after finding suggestive text messages from the singer on her phone.

Levine mostly kept calm while weathering the storm of revelation and subsequent media coverage. After the first allegation, Levine denied having an affair, but used “misjudgment to speak to anyone other than my wife in any kind of flirtatious manner,” according to a statement provided to TMZ. Four other women came forward with their stories and receipts, raising questions about the future of his marriage.

Meanwhile, the paparazzi have spotted the singer and his wife of eight years, former Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, several times since the scandal broke. The couple – who share two children together and are currently expecting their third child – were all smiling as they strolled through Montecito, California, where they own a home, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Below is a report on five women who have come forward against Levine so far.

Sumner Struh

Stroh single-handedly broke the curse on this scandal at a turning point on TikTok on Monday.

The 23-year-old model OnlyFans, who now has nearly a million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, says she’s been involved in an affair with Levine for about a year, though it’s not clear when the alleged attempt began.

Her first video includes screenshots from Instagram DMs allegedly from Levine.

He appears to be saying from his verified account: “It’s really unreal how controversial you are.” “Like that blows my mind.” He later adds, “You’re 50 times hotter. I am haha.”

All along, Straw says, she had the impression that Levine and Prinsloo had broken up. She admits she felt “exploited” and “manipulated” in the alleged case, which she says began shortly after she moved to Los Angeles.

The weirdest part comes when, after what Struh describes as “months” of not speaking, Levine appears to slip back into her inbox last summer to ask if he could name his third child after her.

“Okay, serious question. I have another baby, and if it’s a baby, I really want to call him Sumner. Are you okay with that? Dead Gad ”, reads the screenshot of the message.

In another TikTok published on Tuesday, Stroh claims that she only came forward because she wanted to kill any potential news stories in the works, after finding out that one of her friends had tried to sell the screenshots to a tabloid.

“I thought they were keeping [their separation] Calm down to avoid negative press. I was new to Los Angeles, so with celebrities of this caliber I assumed that was the situation,” she says in a Tuesday video. “I believed everything he said because of my precarious situation.”

Levin denied ever meeting anyone or having an affair, but his alleged letters to Struh, if legitimate, directly contradict this.

Alison Rose

On Tuesday, Rose — who has 69,000 followers on Instagram and appears to have tried her hand at a cosmetics line last year, though not much is known about her after that — posted a since-deleted TikTok featuring more flirtatious messages from the Grammy-winning musician. Or a musician.

Levine seems to be telling her in letters, “I shouldn’t be talking to you.”

TikTok users quickly toasted Rose to some of her own responses, in which she tried to differentiate herself from other women with her musical flair.

She said, “I’m also very weird and only listen to metal lol,” to which Levine replied, “never said any hot chicks but you.”

Despite her dubious attempts to stand up, Rose appears to have been inspired by Stroh’s honesty.

At the end of the video, she said, “If any other girl had experiences with him, which I’m sure she had, I think they should post it, because I feel really bad for his wife.”

Marika

Marika, perhaps the most enigmatic character in this saga, is a heavily tattooed young woman who has around 46,000 followers on Instagram. Although her account once described her as a comedian, it appears that this rating has since been removed from her profile.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that they posted a series of Instagram DMs snapshots between them and Levine’s official account.

Content creator Dana Omary soon took the helm of this part of the drama, sharing more screenshots between Maryka and Levine on her own Instagram account.

In one exchange, Marika appears to say she’s taking time away from Instagram, to which Levine replies, “Distract yourself by having sex with me!” Then he sends her a short video message saying, “I’m stupid.”

In another dialogue, he admits, “I’m obsessed with you now,” to which Marika asks, “Dude, aren’t you like married lol.” Levine replies, “Yeah, but it’s a bit complicated. Stuff gets hard and nothing vid helps. It got away.”

Now Zabul

Zabel, owner of AZ I AM yoga in Santa Monica, California, posted an Instagram story Tuesday detailing a dark end to Levine’s difficult communication with her.

Zabel, 49, says her exchange with the singer happened while she was working as a yoga teacher between 2007 and 2010. (This claim does not appear to interfere with the relationship of Levin Prinsloo, who is said to have met him in 2012.)

One day he texted me saying, “I want to spend the day naked with you.” I was in the bathroom, but my jealous ex saw him and erupted in anger,” she wrote in her letter this week.

Zabel tried to convince her boyfriend that Levine’s texts were intended for his girlfriend at the time, Rebecca Genos. She says she then texted Levine to ask if that was the case, but when he didn’t reply, her boyfriend allegedly became violent and broke her wrist.

“A massive, life-changing and devastating moment,” Zabel said. “And when I told Adam he just ignored it, never apologized, got me out of the next round and helped me through one of the most devastating times of my life.”

In a follow-up post later on Tuesday, she made it clear that Levine is not responsible for her boyfriend’s actions.

“What disappointed me and continues to disappoint me about Adam, is how Adam responded after this incident,” she said.

In a comment below her post, she added, “I hope Adam is honest and real. I hope he sets an example for men on how to treat women, because kids are hot! But that doesn’t mean women are beings and should be treated that way. I know Adam has a good heart out there, I hope he finds a profound remedy in this case as well, making peace with his past, while preparing his little girls to become empowered, intelligent, and respected young women one day.”

Ashley Russell

The latest woman to bring allegations against Levine is 21-year-old Auburn University student, Ashley Russell, who told daily Mail Levine first started viewing her Instagram Stories in March after finding her on his Explore page.

“I wonder what it is for him [feed] Sounds like… all young women? Very strange to me,” Russell told the British tabloid.

Levine then graduated by liking her posts and sending her messages asking if she was in college and praising her for progressing in the gym.

“[He would message] Almost every day at night around 10pm is my time. I would check every time I post a story, which was every day, and he was always on the lookout for it,” she said. “He mainly likes booty stories and always responds with something to do with a leg or booty at the gym.”

Their exchange ended after she advised him not to flirt with random women online.

“When I told him he was going to get caught DMing girls like me, he stopped texting me,” she said.
